Tashi delek,
As a masseur / accupuncturist, i cannot easy give self massage from my back.
The Thera cane is here a good solution for threatening the back as well other acu - (pressure) points on the body.
Yang is mostly a hill or bubble point on the body and these painful yang points can be threatened easy with this stick.
But the pressure should be moderate.
In case of Yin or a valley, on accu- points the pressure can be harder and deeper.
The trapezium region of the back as well cervical vertebrate can be threatened very well.
Also the lower back as well the soles of the feet can have profit of this stick.
One can feel the affected spots very easy with this stick.
Feeling is the way to eliminate pain.
Normal one cannot feel pain at the back because we cannot touch the back and we like to forget pain.
With this cane one can be aware of the painful spot and that means one can cure the affected spot.
To get experienced with the different knobs on the TC, does cost some time, but the manual shows how it has to be done.
For instance stick knob 2 and 3 can be used for the lateral sides of the femur if one holds the stick with point 2 and 3 as a bridge and presses it down.
