My apologies, that was a lazily crafted post on my mobile unit. I imagine the spartans would eschew such a practice. In fact I don't even know if they showered regularly.

Yes there is benefit Johnny. However, I can get the same benefit from walking, yoga and meditation, plus a pure diet, (healthful). I as well incorporate Tai Chi breathing into my practice.

Besides those, strength training can be good for meditation. All in all, if one's entire day is spent in effort, one can reach very good states of strength, health, and bliss.
