Meditation Temple Reconstruction

Post by Tsering Gyurme » Sun Oct 21, 2018 3:03 pm

Dear Sangha and Friends,

The bad weather conditions, which caused damage all over Europe recently, also affected the Retreat Center Thubten Phuntsog Gephel Ling of the Guhya Mantrika Community. A major storm, bringing heavy winds and rain to the region, seriously damaged the roof of the Meditation Temple (Gompa in Tibetan) to the extent that rain is currently coming. With winds reaching 85km per hour, the storm affected the external protection of the house, which was already deteriorating due to the extreme heat recorded in 2017.

We urgently need to repair the roof and the external protection to prevent more damage being caused by the rain coming into the buildings. This is a matter of some urgency considering the fact that the bad weather is expected to continue for the next few weeks. For this we now ask for your help. Please consider making a donation to support the reconstruction of the roof and the external protection of the Gompa of the Thubten Phuntsog Gephel Ling Retreat Center.

You can make your donation either through this campaign, by bank transfer or contact us for other other forms of donating.
