The perception is dependent on observation.
The elephant is there whether blind men are feeling it up or not.

It can be argued that since all we have to go on is perception, that the result is the same as if it were all totally dependent on consciousness.
Otherwise, I never made a statement on this forum until you read it;
you never replied to my statement until I read it.

Too many dharma students fall into this trap.
