special DW event when 6000+/10000+ members?

I think it will be a significant milestone when Dharma Wheel has 6000 members and when Dhamma Wheel has 10000 members (perhaps this will take another 6 to 12 months).

When this happens, perhaps some kind of online celebration would be in order. :woohoo:  :juggling:

Do any of you have any ideas about what we could do? :)

Perhaps putting a cupcake on every jewel in Indra's Net should do it... hehe

 Sorry for kidding.
Maybe we could announce a big chat meeting one week later.
Or do you have another certain idea?

No problem. Life would be dreadful without humor! :)

That sounds good.

No, I don't have any special ideas, but maybe other members will.

Well, this goal has now been achieved!

If any of you have ideas how to celebrate, we are all ears, but I probably won't be online during the weekend.

On a certain day we can all read a sutra or recite a mantra such as the mani and all send in our totals and dedicate it for world peace.

Well, I'm sorry to tell it as it is, but nobody knows the real number of real members.
Since we had some trouble with the submiting button there are only very few people who only registered once. The active members use only one account, we try to watch this. But most new members tried several times to register and every trial with another username is listed as "registered member".
There is also a certain amount of spam bots that are banned permanently.

If anybody has really much freetime, they could go through the list and weed those surplus names from the list.

So, this is only worth a small whole-grain sugarless cucumber cake for our party. :geek:
