encouraging creativity

Post by Riju » Fri Jun 23, 2017 4:18 pm

1. It is written in Lotus sutra that if one writes down the Wisdom of Buddhas all humans beings together will not have knowledge of even one Buddha.
So whatever is written in sutras is not even the millionth part of Buddha knowledge and wisdom.
2. It is also written in lotus sutra that any one who distorts the meaning or details of sutra will be very heavily punished.

So Is there some thread in this forum where one can interpret sutras beyond what ever is given in sutras. Because this will increase creativity and benefit many other persons who understand from other angles.
If some new creative writings leads one to negate sutras , it should be challenged by other readers and corrected. The writer of new creativity also will be careful as he knows that wrong meanings will lead to heavy punishment.
I need the guidance on this subject.

You can give full scope to your creativity in the section "Open Dharma", the "Lounge" or "Creative writing". Everything that doesn't contravene our ToS is allowed there.
