Trungpa's green lady

Post by passel » Sat Oct 20, 2012 6:05 am

all trolling aside, the story of trungpa and the green lady shows up in jeremy hayward's book, the warrior king of shambhala. best i remember it:

later in his career, trungpa won't start dinner because he's waiting for the green woman to come. he's getting irritated and all his people are running around, looking for the green woman, increasingly wierded out. someone (hayward?) says that it's difficult because none of us can see her. trungpa says "that's the whole f--ing problem!" end of story.
