Just saw this lady on CNN.
Had both of her legs replaced with prosthetics... But today she's an athlete and a fashion model.
On CNN, she talked about how she disagrees with the word "disabled," talking about how uplifting stories of disabled people always say something like, "Such and such person DESPITE THEIR DISABILITY was able to achieve..."
She says that's a mistaken way of looking at it, because it's not even anything that necessarily holds somebody back from doing what they want to do. I'd bet that in the video above, she makes the same point. I agree with her.
