Nice to learn madame Blavatsky had visited and studied in Tibet in the late 1800's.
i never knew this i always thought she was just someone who Aleister Crowley studied and received knowledge from after she died.
I think they worked on the tarot deck Toth together.

No, Crowley worked on the Thoth Tarot with Lady Frieda Harris towards the end of his life. It was his magnum opus in many ways.

ahhh,,ok then..
Somewhere i recall though that the images were supposed to have been given to him through her..in some sort of seance thing...don't really recall where i read that...
Could be some con put outby some bogus wannabe writer.... it was to do to the fact she was dead and he was getting it through a medium or something...
ahh those days though eh!!! they did lay the ground work for a lot of eastern acceptance...they were sort of mavericks at this stuff...

when i think of the long road to what we have today...even the early 70's you really had to sift through a lot stuff to uncover the real deal...

people that met the early Tibetan teachers were lucky...they were young and fully powered and still had the glow of Tibet about them....and to be one of the few who became their friends in the new world eh...

I've only skimmed through the blog entry, but is this proven?
Last I heard her visits to Tibet were very much in question and the Mahatmas being immortals residing in Tibet was a subterfuge designed to protect her very mortal teacher who lived in Kashmir and did not want to be associated with her publicly for political reasons.

This could be wrong, I don't have a particular interest in theosophy and so I don't keep up on the history, but I remember finding this fascinating. Below is a Facebook post I made

I've gone down a rabbit hole of probably 12+ hours of Poke Runyon's podcasts in the past week, but this one got me excited!

He breaks down not only the real history of the hidden master in the Order of Strict Observance, but the history the BLAVATSKY had REAL 'secret masters' (ie. real people such as Ranbir Singh) was Kashmiri, and the Tibetanness and ascendedness were political blinds!!!! (the idea came about partially due to her early involvement in strict observance).

Blavatsky forced the hand of the Golden Dawn and their "secret chiefs", which Crowley also took up ("To Mega Therion" being thought to be an ascended master by many at the time, not a motto/pen-name) and we were off.
GOOD TIMES!!!
