Why do hundreds of people view postings here for new threads but only few respond?

from the same movie,

Alex: There were some sophistos from the TV studio right around the corner. The devotchka was smiling away... jollying and vigoreeting. Then suddenly, my friends, the disc on the stereo faded out. And in the short lapse before the other one started, she came in with a burst of singing...

Oh. Unless its Big Lebowski or Bar Fly I have no idea. In terms of movies, I have not moved out of down rent Los Angeles.
There is no suffering to be severed. Ignorance and klesas are indivisible from bodhi. There is no cause of suffering to be abandoned. Since extremes and the false are the Middle and genuine, there is no path to be practiced. Samsara is nirvana. No severance achieved. No suffering nor its cause. No path, no end. There is no transcendent realm; there is only the one true aspect. There is nothing separate from the true aspect.

IMO, if responding to a thread on DharmaWheel instead of only viewing a thread is like taking the red pill instead of the blue pill, then I hate to say it, but DharmaWheel is not the Matrix, but rather, is the bombed out hellscape remains of the Machine World (!).

Still, it becomes inconstant and ruined.
The many Buddhas are vajra-entities.
All are also subject to inconstancy.
Quickly ended, like melting snow --
how could things be different?

Since the thread was not specifically about Nichiren Buddhism, but about DW in general, the topic has been moved to the lounge.

That could be one of the reasons - posting in the wrong place.

I thought this would've been the appropriate area since I am a Nichiren Buddhist.

In his writing, Hokkemongu (Words and Phrases of the Lotus Sutra), The Great Master Nichiren said, “If the practitioners of the Lotus Sutra wholeheartedly devote their life to the Lotus Sutra and practice according to its golden words, it is certainly needless to say that not only in the next life, but also in this lifetime they will overcome severe difficulty, prolong their life, receive the great, good fortune of unsurpassed enlightenment, and accomplish the great vow of the widespread, propagation of True Buddhism.”

Sorry, no criticism meant. It is a good question to raise.

It is a broadly relevant topic so I really meant to raise the issue of posting in the 'best' place rather than that you were wrong.

Coëmgenu wrote: Wed Nov 29, 2017 6:49 am A lot of people are intimidated to join, because they fear reprisal from a perceived "DharmaWheel elite" who will cruelly reprise them if they post something unfavorable. It is an issue with all fora.
This is it for me. It's not so much that I fear reprisal, but I do come here to learn and gain perspective. Personally, I'm a recent Nichiren Shoshu follower, having joined a local temple without any previous experience in Nichiren Buddhism (not even SGI!), so I do a TON of lurking just to try to piece things together. This is one out of many stops for me. :)
