DhammaWheel

Post by Caoimhghín »

The administrator of DhammaWheel just doctored a thread to have me saying I will be a preta, locked the thread, then banned me: https://dhammawheel.com/viewtopic.php?f ... 51#p486347

Let's be thankful our moderators here do not stoop to such lows.
Then, the monks uttered this gāthā:

These bodies are like foam.
Them being frail, who can rejoice in them?
The Buddha attained the vajra-body.
Still, it becomes inconstant and ruined.
The many Buddhas are vajra-entities.
All are also subject to inconstancy.
Quickly ended, like melting snow --
how could things be different?

The Buddha passed into parinirvāṇa afterward.

I would be grateful to them. You will be wasting less time online.

Oh, certainly.

I gave up on DhammaWheel about a year ago.

It was funny to be booted out in such a silly way, though.

Have you contacted DNS? (memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=2) He is the owner of Dharma Wheel and Dhamma Wheel, and it would be interesting to hear from him if he is fine with a site admin faking a post from you, then banning you from the site.

I can see the moderator logs and I don't see that any moderator or admin doctored the post of yours where you say you will be a preta. It looks like 1 or 2 posts were edited with some meta-discussion removed, but no doctoring of any posts to change their meaning.

What you said about binocular's posting is simply not true.

You can check her posting history from her profile. She was actually more absent during the time when there was a different moderator/admin staffing.

Interesting how the metadiscussion was so selectively removed. Interesting how the preta comment was left.

Interesting how it was locked with that post (originally) at the bottom of the thread.

A trans-website meta discussion.
Gotta love that!

My comments about that user should have been removed, as it was sharing information from a PM. The moderators only decided to selectively remove posts from me. I can't control what they refuse to moderate.

This thread can probably be shut down too.

I agree! But then I am always looking for an excuse to shut down a thread.
