Tashi delek,

To be present in the Nature can have positive effects on our health and wellness, no doubt about it.

In Scotland, the doctor(s) can prescribe for stressed patients, Nature as a remedie / cure.

=================

Doctors in Shetland can now prescribe a walk in nature. It's believed to be the first program of its kind in the U.K.

The health benefits of engaging with nature are numerous.

Since October 5, doctors in Shetland, Scotland have been authorized to prescribe nature to their patients. It's thought to be the first program of its kind in the U.K., and seeks to reduce blood pressure, anxiety, and increase happiness for those with diabetes, a mental illness, stress, heart disease, and more.

Tashi delek,

The "wild tribes", have a special relation with their Nature, Nature is their home.
These tribes, would never destroy their Nature / Home, no way. They maintain their Nature on the way they know since a long time.
The people who destroy their home are mostly those people who do not live in their Nature and have no relation with the spirit of their Nature as well with their inhabitants.

==============

Indigenous peoples were expert conservationists long before the word "conservation" was dreamed up. We are championing a new approach to conservation that puts them at its heart. It's best for tribes, for nature, and for all humanity.

Tashi delek,

Casey Anderson , an animal lover. He loves Nature and their inhabitants, great !

=================

You hear stories about strange encounters in the wild but with this video, If I hadn’t seen it I wouldn’t have believed it.

While on a hike a man named Casey Anderson met a grizzly bear cub and from that day forward his life was changed forever.

About 6 years ago he stumbled across little Brutus the bear cub all alone without a mom. With out really thinking he took him into his arms, and that’s when their friendship began. And now 6 years later now have an unbreakable bond and they have a incredibly unique story that has inspired so many others.

He raised the bear cub in his own home and when the day Brutus became too large to stay, he went out of his way to build a Montana Grizzly Encounter Rescue and Educational Sanctuary for Brutus. It is now a place where people can come and learn about bears and wildlife. Casey’s daring bear cub rescue was returned with the most amazing friendship that has brought so much happiness.

Tashi delek,

The Rainbow Grasshopper with its beautiful colors.

"Painted grasshopper" redirects here. For the species from India, see Poekilocerus pictus.

Dactylotum bicolor, also known as the rainbow grasshopper, painted grasshopper, or the barber pole grasshopper, is a species of grasshopper in the family Acrididae. It is native to the United States, Canada and northern Mexico and exhibits aposematism (warning coloration). It was first described by the German entomologist Toussaint de Charpentier in 1843.

Tashi delek,

agree 100%. They know the best way to preserve nature indefinitely.
They live respecting nature and eat corresponding to their (and our) biology.
Guess what would happen if they decided to change to a purely vegan way of life.
Their environment would degrade drastically, 90% of biodiversity would vanish, and they themselves would perish
within less than a generation. They could only subside on industrially produced supplements and would depend
on BIG PHARMA to survive.

Tashi delek,

Julia Roberts Just Made One Of The Most Powerful Videos Ever.

In the video you are about to see, Julia Roberts narrates a powerful message about the planet Earth. Hearing these words really helps to put things into perspective.

While many of us may take it for granted, the planet we live on is the very foundation of all life as we know it. Home to between 10-14 million species of life, we share this planet with billions of others that have an equal stake in maintaining the planet.

It is for this reason that many have come to be cautious about the impact we have on many creatures’ natural habitats. Issues such as deforestation and water/food contamination have a significant impact on the quality of life for animals. In many cases, this can become an issue of life or death.

Tashi delek,

Very special cries of the Gibbons, it gives the jungle a special sound.
For how long can we still hear these cries ?

================

Gibbon expression...
Gibbons, communicate in a sophisticated way using no less than 450 different cries, adapted to the situations in which they are located (presence of threat, during a meal, when a member is separated from the group, etc.). Very elaborate and rich for the "smallest of the great apes"

Tashi delek,

Ko Ko, can talk by signs. She knows about 500 signs to express himself.
This gorilla has emotions and other feelings, which he can express.
Ko Ko died recently.

===================

Koko the Gorilla uses sign language to communicate with people, the depth of her ability to communicate is simply astonishing and begs the question of how intelligent gorillas really are. Consistently Koko has performed just 1 year behind a human & has a good IQ. She befriends 2 kittens and makes friends with 2 male gorillas, one of which recounts the tragic loss of his mother to poachers when he was just a baby.

Tashi delek,

Animals can be sometimes as smart as humans.

=============

A crow was given a puzzle that involves 8 different pieces that the bird is able to see individually. The bird is then shown all the pieces together in one area, and the bird must then figure out how to use all the pieces to retrieve a stick that can reach a piece of food. Check this out and prepare to be amazed!

Tashi delek,

Trees, are a very important entity in our live(s).
The Buddha Shakyamuni became enlightened under a Ficus tree ( later called Ficus Religiosa)
Guess it was also for the shade that the Buddha sat under that huge tree.

Trees give us protection against the sun and they produce oxygen two very important factors.
Trees take out of the air carbon dioxide and exchange it for oxygen ( clean air).
Trees also keep the soil together in mountain areas and if there are enough trees we can use them as timber wood and wood for the stove in winter times.

Tashi delek,

Planting trees, one of the major remedies / alternatives / options for saving our planet.
From the other side in Brazil , under the sway of the new president, a huge part of the Amazons will be sold to the Chinese money wolves.

But i and others have the hope that everything will be alright, the power of positive thinking by many, will make changes to a better climate possible.

=================

HH Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang, Buddhist monks and volunteer residents are trying to preserve Himalaya's fragile ecosystem. :twothumbsup:
More Tibetan Rinpochees should go for helping regarding the planting of trees and the general Nature.
