Book of Kadam

Post by passel » Wed Oct 18, 2017 10:40 pm

Wisdom has published The Book of Kadam in its Library of Tibetan Classics series, as a mammoth hardcover.
They have also published two smaller volumes excepted from that larger work- Wisdom of the Kadam Masters and Essential Mind Training.

Is anyone familiar with those books? Specifically, how much of the larger work is included in the two smaller works? What is left out?

Thanks

Go to Wisdom pubs site where the Table of Contents for the big source books are given; also the abridgments TofC are there. The Mind Training abridgement is not from the Kadam book, but another huge one on Mind Training.

Ah, that’s clear, thanks. I hadn’t realized the extracts were from two different books.
