huayan vs tiantai metaphysics?

Post by nichiren-123 » Mon Dec 18, 2017 4:26 pm

So I've been reading tiantai and huayan and can't see much of a distinction in their metaphysics?
namely, they both subscribe to the idea of interpenetration of all dharma's.

So what are the actual metaphysical differences between the two?
Also, how are they distinguished in terms of their liberating practice?

thanks
