Where can you hear worldly deities?

Post by Tiago Simões »

That's the question. I heard it on a Q&A video and found the answer given interesting, what would you answer?

The question doesn't seem to make much sense. I at least cannot understand what it may be about. Why would you hear worldly deities and what does location have to do with it?

Hmm guess it doesn't. The question that was asked in the Q&A video was "Can one communicate with worldly deities?", and I'm not quite sure, but I do think it was a child/teen asking... And yes location played a role in the answer by the Lama. I wanted to hear some answers here before sharing the video so not to influence said answers.

You can hear them in your mind. Demons, spirits, etc. Are delusions of the mind. Thus, you hear them in yourself. Nothing more.

You mean like devas? I would reckon that devas can be communicated with through a manokaya, if one masters the meditative attainments. AFAIK though, devas are largely not interested in the affairs of humans. Yakshas are far more common to interact with us, but I would be reticent to use the term "deity" to describe a yaksha.

I'll watch it later, but since you're OP.... do you have any actual questions to be answered, or is this just sorta open-ended? Cause if it's open-ended, I have nothing more to contribute.

I would call it, an open-ended discussion on the answer given by LJT. Is he talking about Devas? Or something else...
