Merit of Wishing to Ease Someone Else's Pain?

Post by Motova » Tue Mar 13, 2018 1:25 am

I remember reading something about the Buddha wishing to ease the pain of a headache of another person in a past life and the amount of merit generated by that thought....

Can someone please help me track down that information?

Thank you.

The four means of converting beings to the Dharma are generosity (which itself as four aspects: giving material gifts, conferring fearlessness, loving kindness and teaching Dharma), pleasant speech, conduct and setting an example.
