Disassembling Dharma Books

Is there anything wrong with disassembling dharma books to scan them?

It is like killing sentient beings, if you can restore them whole and perfect, no problem. But if you can't....

What about non-dharma books?

I already disassembled one dharma book... so everything is fine if I restore it?

Look at the wand scanners- easy to scan books no problem!
