Chinnamunda practices

I have two main questions I was hoping someone could help answer:
1) Does anyone know what Chinnamunda/Chinnamasta practices still exist in TB?
I am aware that the Sakyapas have a sadhana of a yellow form of Chinnamunda. Do they also have a red form? I also read there exists a form of Chinnamunda in the Nyingma sect but I have been unable to find any information on this.
2) Is it true that Chinnamunda was the main/most popular charnel ground practice of Vajrayana prior to Chöd? Any reason for the decline in interest?
I ask because Chinnamunda greatly attracts me far more than other dieties do, and it seems it will be difficult to find initiation into one of her practices. Even more dissapointing is the lack of English literature on this beautiful and enlightened Goddess!
Thanks.
