Thank you very much for these images! But it seems to me that these thangka images are very different from what the prayer describes. For instance, in the case of Dzam Ling Gyen Chok, the prayer states:
སྲིན་པོའི་ཁ་གནོན་མཛད་པའི་ཚེ༔

sinpö khanön dzepé tsé

When overpowering the rakṣasas,

ཁྱེའུ་ཆུང་སྤྲུལ་སྐུའི་ཆ་ལུགས་ཅན༔

khyé'u chung tulkü chaluk chen

You appear as a youth in nirmāṇakāya garb,

ཡ་མཚན་གཟུགས་བཟང་ཁ་དོག་ལེགས༔

yatsen zuk zang khadok lek

Your amazing, beautiful form, with its lovely hue,

ཚེམས་འགྲིགས་དབུ་སྐྲ་སེར་ལ་མཛེས༔

tsem drik utra ser la dzé

Perfect teeth and golden hair, gorgeous

Subjugating māras and rakṣasas.

Your left hand holds a phurba of teak,

Not that thangkas are very reliable in general bu he looks like that in all thangkas I every seen, that includes the thangkas of the lineage masters in this tradition, so I think that is how he look. Of course that might not be the idea you get from the description but that doesn't mean it's wrong. I think they might actually be compatible.
