Blessings are beyond time and space, near and far.
But training, what Tibetans refer to as dul-wa/taming or disciplining, is, IME, best done in meat-space. For me, it's so easy to make excuses, be lazy, to fool myself, to let my bad habits slide by, to idle my time away as my dal-jor is, moment by moment, being consumed. Again IME, a good Teacher, and especially a live Teacher, helps you tame what needs to be tamed, points out the places that still need work, prods you to go beyond where you would push yourself to go. Of course, it all depends on how badly you desire the Liberation of all sentient beings.
(For those Internet "Dzogchenpas" who will likely respond with nothing to tame, nothing to work for, everything is primordially liberated, ya-da ya-da ya-da, good luck and best wishes.)
