Re: Madhyamaka books
The Wisdom chapter in The Nectar of Manjushri's Speech.
"All phenomena of samsara depend on the mind, so when the essence of mind is purified, samsara is purified. Since the phenomena of nirvana depend on the pristine consciousness of vidyā, because one remains in the immediacy of vidyā, buddhahood arises on its own. All critical points are summarized with those two." - Longchenpa

Zen Master Seung Sahn said, “That’s simple. Atomic bombs come from the mind that likes this and doesn’t like that.”
"Even if you practice only for an hour a day with faith and inspiration, good qualities will steadily increase. Regular practice makes it easy to transform your mind. From seeing only relative truth, you will eventually reach a profound certainty in the meaning of absolute truth."

http://nitarthainstitute.org/ (this one I think is not for free)
Good luck!

These valuable translations will stop soon, February 28 in fact, if donations do not appear by then. They are only half way thru the translation project.http://www.uma-tibet.org/index-2.html . (Many translations of many texts/monastic textbooks)
May all seek, find & follow the Path of Buddhas.

Dr Guy Newland has a series of videos on how the different Tibetan schools interpret Madhyamaka. If y don’t want to watch the entire series you can choose the video corresponding to your favorite school.

He’s a protege of Jeffrey Hopkins so expect a little Gelug bias, but not too bad.

1.The problem isn’t ‘ignorance’. The problem is the mind you have right now. (H.H. Karmapa XVII @NYC 2/4/18)
2. I support Mingyur R and HHDL in their positions against lama abuse.

The antidote—to be free from the suffering of samsara—you need to be free from delusion and karma; you need to be free from ignorance, the root of samsara. So you need to meditate on emptiness. That is what you need. Lama Zopa Rinpoche
Re: Madhyamaka books
The origin and basis of all Madhyamaka are Nagarjuna's Mūlamadhyamakakārikā. So your question is necessarily a question of Nagarjuna's verses and commentaries on these verses available in English language.Hi all,
I would like to study Madhyamaka.
Can you recommend any Madhyamaka books to study?
Thanks.
This Wiki link (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M%C5%ABla ... 1rik%C4%81) provides a table of available translations of the verses and commentaries on these verses in English language.
However I cannot confirm that the list of books in this table is complete. Maybe there are even more. Some can be downloaded for free after some search.
