Request for all

Maybe a bit lame, but can we all wish for each other never to be separated from the guru? I'm feeling his absence right now :consoling:

May we think of the guru fondly,
as the guru always thinks of us.
Sought out by the buddhas,
having joyfully met their guide,
how could time or space detain us?

May your pillow be the guru's lap as you receive teachings in dreams.
May your every thought, word, and act be inspired by the guru.
Lama Zopa Rinpoche - Calling the Guru from Afar (Abbreviated Version)

LA MA KHYEN
Guru, think of me!

Long Version
With a heart wandering in ignorance down this path and that
to guide me, I simply say Namu-amida-butsu.
-- Ippen

"If sentient beings are touched by His radiance, their three afflictions will be eliminated and their bodies and minds will become gentle. They will be filled with joy and exuberance as benevolence arises in their minds. If those who are in extreme suffering, taking any of the three evil life-journeys, see this radiance, they can rest, no more pain or distress." -- Sutra of Amitāyus Buddha

The first section is actually Shabkar Tshog-drug Rang-drol's famous Lama Gyan Bod. This was said every day at Jetsun Shukseb Cho-nyid Wang-mo's nunnery and is still said daily by the Shukseb nun's at Yu-lo-ko nunnery in Dolu below Pharping, Nepal. Jetsun Shukseb held the Longchen Nyingthig lineage that came down from Shabkar. Her Root Guru, Lama Pema Gyatsho had been a student of Shabkar. My Teacher's wife had been a close student of Jetsun Shukseb Rinpoche (sometimes called Ani Lochen). So we also sang this every day for many, many years. It is still hands down my favorite Lama Gyan Bod. Can't help crying every time.

I pray that the teacher has a good health
I pray that the teacher has a very long life
I pray that his activities spread far and wide
I request to not be separated from them
A boat delivers you to the other riverbank.
A needle stitches up your clothes.
A horse takes you where you want to go.
Bodhicitta will bring you to Buddhahood.

YES!

I just mean that I'm not always comfortable asking for help, and because I don't know all of you personally, that makes it difficult, at times... :D
