Post by ddorje »

We are excited to officially announce the Melbourne Teaching & Empowerment schedule of His Eminence Pema Rigstal Rinpoche between the 23rd of January to the 8th of February 2019.

Rinpoche is a lineage holder of the Dudjom Tersar tradition of the Nyingma School of Tibetan Buddhism and the head of the Namkya Khyung Dzong Monastery, Humla, Mt.Kailash. As a son of the Second Degyal Rinpoche, Pema Rigstal Rinpoche has spent the majority of his life teaching and abiding in strict retreat. Therefore, with such a dedicated approach, Rinpoche has kindly accepted our initiation to come and teaching Dharma, primarily from his essential text, The Great Secret of Mind. These teaching are suitable for all audiences, including those with a budding interest in Buddhism.

For the flourishing of the concise lineage of the Dudjom Tersar in Australia, Rinpoche has also accepted the request to bestow empowerments into the Three Roots of the Dudjom Tersar (Dudjom Yeshe Dorje Rinpoche), as well as the Troma Nagmo cycle from Dudjom Lingpa, specifically for disciples dedicated to practice this lineage.

Please find below a detailed schedule that includes times and fees, as well as an introductory biography to Pema Rigstal Rinpoche.

For what it’s worth, I strongly encourage anyone with sincere interest in Dzogchen in general and the Dudjom tersar in particular to make a connection with this great master.

That said, this should probably go in the events section of the site.
