Re: Dzogchen Community of Chogyal Namkhai Norbu
You mean because Rinpoche gave a DI on those retreats? There is no lung for Rushens right...so you mean they just didn't want people without DI watching the retreat? Seems odd, given that it's an open Webcast, but maybe. Hopefully Rinpoche will be back doing them soon!Pero wrote: ↑Sun Jun 10, 2018 8:42 amYeah but I think it's because Rinpoche was giving transmission for them. I suspect they don't want people attending who don't already have transmission (like Mantrik mentioned).Johnny Dangerous wrote: ↑Sat Jun 09, 2018 10:17 pm I don't get the Rushens thing, Rinpoche has done Rushens plenty on open webcasts. First day was great though.

Well, the rushens are considered secret practice.Johnny Dangerous wrote: ↑Mon Jun 11, 2018 4:26 pmYou mean because Rinpoche gave a DI on those retreats? In order to do them you need to have some kind of transmission and permission.
Re: Dzogchen Community of Chogyal Namkhai Norbu
Yes, but the open webcasts of Rinpoche for example still come with direct introduction+transmission, and with that also samaya - always. No direct introduction given in this retreat, and as such it is not fitting to be discussing something that is governed by samaya.Johnny Dangerous wrote: ↑Mon Jun 11, 2018 4:26 pmYou mean because Rinpoche gave a DI on those retreats? Re: Dzogchen Community of Chogyal Namkhai Norbu
Does anyone know if there is an audio file available for the melody of the Purification Practice of Vajrasattva and Mandala Offering? I've looked on both the international site and the one in the US, neither seem to have it. Any help with this is greatly appreciated !

I have a question about the Guru practice for the SMS three roots. Can you accumulate the mantra normally, or do you have to recite it with the melody?
Thanks!
Thanks!

"All phenomena of samsara depend on the mind, so when the essence of mind is purified, samsara is purified. Since the phenomena of nirvana depend on the pristine consciousness of vidyā, because one remains in the immediacy of vidyā, buddhahood arises on its own. All critical points are summarized with those two." - Longchenpa

Am I the only one who cannot replay webcasts? The page loads normally and after few seconds it falls and chrome gives me error message. The same happens with the restricted section of resources.

No recent news post that I can recall, but I do know there were some recent pics of him hanging out with various students in the garden and cafeteria of Dzamling Gar, looking well.

When one has problems with lust for example which makes staying commited in a relationship bit harder, will six loka practice (I am especially interested in the inner rushen one as it is easiest) help with it?

I'm looking forward to the WWT happening next month. Does anyone know of any videos available of the mudras involved for the Padmasambhava guru yoga? Also does anyone have a color image of Guru Dewa Chenpo as practiced in the DC?

Does anyone have a link to a good image of the syllables of the Three Vajras? All the images I find online are either too dim, or without a thigle etc.
