The Guru Yoga here is ChNNR's usage - being in the state of natural awareness.

This is what is called for when anyone is dying.

If you are distracted, then Shitro, or other practices as the DC websites suggest are fine.

Do your best.

Not an easy time.

Why ganapuja?
Ganapuja purifies samaya with the master.

Earlier in the thread it was reported that Shitro is being performed.

Does anyone know which Shitro is being performed and by whom?
They are not doing Shitro, so I think we can all relax about that for the moment. Todays schedule in Dzamling Gar.

Schedule : Tuesday 18

8:00am Guru yoga A White (first thun)

10:00 Guru yoga A White (second thun)

12:00 Guru Yoga A White (third thun)

15:00 Guru Yoga A White (fourth thun)

17:00 Midium Ganapuja with Invoking lamp (Marme monlam)
Followed by Khiata

19:00 Tun of Vajra dance

20:00 Guru Yoga A White (thun fifth)

We will continue with the practice of Guruyoga and purification of Samaya.

Shitro when a Master dies?!?
Unusual.....
Doesn't make sense.
Shitro in this case is for purify our -we student's-samaya, not for the Buda. ChNN is perfectly fine, he can take care of himself.

it is better to do ganapuya, and behave.
ShiTro is also for purifying... but not sooo good for broken samayas i think - there are better practices for that
the purifcation for others is optional, it needless in this case; and the 100 part can be done for purify specifically our samaya, using mudra also.

something important is that shitro, in the ChNN sistem, is equivalent to GY, to integrate calm and movement states (shi, tro), that's the principle.

but the better option, i agree, is to do collective ganapujas because we are more familiar in that , we are more used to it, and we can share time together also.
what are you doing

It was an assumption based on the fact that ganapuja is one of the most done practices in the DC right up there with GY + SoV.

The stream has been running well today, just make sure you use the Practicing Together link and not the main Webcast! I think possibly that was the issue for many people yesterday.

Why ganapuja?
I believe it's because it contains the most practices for purifying samaya of any DC sadhana. The Ganapuja itself and also the 100-syllable Vajrasattva mantra. In the webcast from Merigar today, they did many repetitions of the brief Ganapuja text "RAM YAM KHAM OM Ā HŪM . . ." and of the Vajrasattva mantra.
