I sort of like that the DC does it's own stuff, but is there an explicit reason they do not use an available streaming service?

I mean if the answer is that they want the DC to remain independent of these, that is a good thing, and we should take our lumps...but if not...
Initially, they developed their webcast platform hoping to also sell services to others.

Actually, the DC webcast platform is one of the most stable out there.
They have often tried to find ways to stop it crashing due to overload. Perhaps if we paid more, it could be enhanced to support more users. If it is just capacity, then I'd favour that solution rather than the others being suggested.

Maybe if someone here knows how to do it they could start a gofundme thingy specifically to raise money for the best equipment etc to make the webcasts even better?

I would, too, and I made the suggestion a few years ago to DC when I started to grow tired of the dicey reliability, obvious latency problems, and mid-2000s video quality. It's too bad that Rinpoche's high quality teachings get delivered so poorly.

Did that a few years ago. Apparently, they had some updates/upgrades that they were rolling out that they expected would be a marked improvement. Thanked me but said they had things in hand.

On p. 91 in The 21 Semdzins of Dzogchen Upadesha and p. 71 of the Song of the Vajra there is a practice called Semdzin Yugu that is attributed to Shri Singha. Does anyone have anymore background information on this practice?

When Rinpoche says:
The practice of Guru Drakphur we do is a combination of GD of Namcho and of Heka Lingpa....

What does this mean? A mixture? I don' think so.
A combination of the visualisation during mantra-recitation, or what else?

Where does he say that?
Although many individuals in this age appear to be merely indulging their worldly desires, one does not have the capacity to judge them, so it is best to train in pure vision.

It's not a mixture.
He doesnt say that.
He transmits two different GD practices.
The primary one we do is the essential mantra of the Heka Lingpa practice.

Because you didn't hear, or read it doesn't mean he never said this.
You could find it in the red booklet from 1995 at page 19 (series of teachings 29)

Ive read the booklet numerous times, he gives two practices not a combination.

You can have a path which combines two or more practices of the same deity. The problem we have is that ChNN does not always use consistent English and may talk or write of a 'combination' or 'combining' whilst not meaning 'mixing together'. We can combine milk and whisky into our diet, but need not mix them together into a single drink.

He is a mixture.
.One of the most effective practices for controlling negativities is Guru Tragphur. This Guru Tragphur, however, is very special because it is the union of Hayagriva, Vajrapani, Garuda and Vajrakilaya as well as Yangdag Heruka. This practice is a terma of my uncle Heka Lingpa, also known as Jamyang Chokyi Wangchuk and Khyentse Yangsid Rinpoche.

You misunderstand.

The discussion here was whether the Guru Dragphur practice done in the community is a combination-mix of Namcho Migyur Dorje's practice, and Heka Lingpa's practice, or not. So the answer is, that it's not. There are two Guru Dragphur practices done in the community, and the primary focus is on Heka Lingpa's practice. The practices are both unique and standalone, they are not mixed into one practice.

As for Guru Dragphur, he is a union of the above deities as mentioned, that is true. But that has nothing to do with what is being discussed.

I think sometimes Rinpoche says combined when he gives two practices together, like CCD'S Kalachakra and Longsal Kalachakra and Singhamukha he generally gives and Ayu Khandro''s.

Yes I know that it is not a mixture. I've wrote that I do not believe that, to exclude statements like this from the answers i could get...
Didn't really work.

In the booklet you can read:
"There are different Dragpo kilayas, and I myself have received different initiations of this manifestation; but the practice we do is a combination of two Dragpo Kilayas"
And then follows the explanation of the two practices.
At the donwang he said it similar and then he gave lung for the mantras of Namcho & Heka Lingpa.
I clearly understand that there are two practices, etc. etc. but i didn't understand why this is called a combination...
He said something similar about the Chod - but there it is obvious that he combined the Khandro Gadjang & the Nondro-Chod of jigme Lingpa.
So I wonder what the combination of Guru Dragphur could be.

But maybe Mantrik's answer shed a little light on the issue -but maybe it is not so simple:
The problem we have is that ChNN does not always use consistent English
I don't know
