Ah, thank you. That makes sense then.
Are the 59 slogans that are popularly practiced in the dzogchen community?

I got distracted by the lively (!) conversation on rigpa-through-books (thanks for posting such great info there btw), but I wanted to make sure to say thanks for that. It probably should have been obvious to me, but that has cleared up a lot of confusion for me.

The Seven Mind trainings are a unique system which originally comes from the Vima sNying thig. These days it is most popularly summarized by the Chetsun sNying thig, and there is a long commentary on them by Jigme Lingpa as well. Longchenpa also wrote three commentaries on the Seventh Lojong, which can be found in the Lama Yangthig.

It is presumably my complete ignorance of Tibetan (I got "Manual of Standard Tibetan," but have not started it yet), but I'm having trouble finding more about most of these sources. I did a Tibetan version of one, but that isn't something I can use just yet.

Are any of the resources you mention translated into english?

Anyone know if there is specific reading material associated for the current webcast?

That was perhaps the clearest explanation of Dzogchen I've ever heard.

To those who watched the most recent livecast.

I have watched two now (one and a half), but circumstance really does not allow me to stay up live with them. I plan on becoming an official member either next month or the month after so that I can watch the replays.
iMy question is, do the teachings of the podcast apply to dzogchen practice in general, and DC practice specifically, or they each specific tansmissions. i.e.. If I have received all the lung that are generally given, can I apply the teachings in a webcast that I wasn't present for, or are they really only for people who attend live?

That was poorly worded.
I hope it made sense. Thanks.

Having attened the webcasts that you have, you have already received DI from Rinpoche because he always gives it - just more formally on special occasions throughout the year.

Once you have received lungs, you can do any of those practices you just want to get the booklet that gives the explanation.

Just something helpful for the upcoming transmission
You should order the book "Guru Yoga" or on the webcast website there is a retreat resources header link that provides a couple sections of this book you can print and use if you can make a paypal donation ..
