How can I know to be toxic if I am toxic?
I am the limit of my experience.
Ho! All the possible appearances and existences of samsara and nirvana have the same source, yet two paths and two results arise as the magical display of awareness and unawareness.

Where and when does James Low teach publicly?

I wanted to share this recently posted set of teachings from James Low:

"The natural condition and the state of delusion", which is on YouTube at

This is also on his website in dowloadable audio as "The one ground and its qualities":
http://eifelaudio.simplybeing.co.uk/201 ... qualities/

It's a simply brilliant exposition of Dzogchen. He has a really clear way of explaining the view and practice.

All,

this is to announce that following the publication of "SPARKS" last year,

this year another book has been published: "FINDING FREEDOM"

Also, with much effort many many videos have been migrated from vimeo to youtube. You can find plenty of precious teachings by James Low, if interested.

on Finding Freedom:
The book contains The Dhammapada by Buddha Shakyamuni, the Sharp Weapon Wheel by Dharmarakshita, and four Dzogchen texts by Tulku Tsulo, Gonpo Wangyal, Ayu Khandro and the famous Kunzang Mönlam – The Evocation of Samantabhadra. All texts were translated from Tibetan by James Low with the guidance of C R Lama and have been revised for this book. Each section is accompanied by a comprehensive introduction that touches the depth and heart of Buddha‘s teaching and points to the end of sorrow for all beings and the attainment of lasting freedom.
Further info here: https://www.wandel-verlag.de/finding-freedom/

on Sparks:
On a dark night sparks show us where the fire is and they draw us towards the warmth and the light. Although we may often feel that we are fumbling in the dark, our awareness offers ceaseless illumination which manifests as all that we see and experience. This sparkling radiance fills the sky of the mind with enlightening sparks.
The Buddha gave many teaching, offering them as illuminating sparks from the fire of his wisdom. Contact with these sparks can awaken us to our own radiant potential, which is always ready to blaze forth.
Just as we need the heat and the light of the sun to survive, so we need the heat and the light of the awakened heart to thrive. This collection of brief expressions of dharma is offered as kindling for your heart-fire.
For the Portuguese members of DW: be informed that James will be coming to Portugal for the first time in January.

James Low's "Sparks" is one of the best, if not the best, books on Dzogchen I've ever read.

This guy is an excellent teacher. Really amazing. I only heard of him recently and went to check his teachings. Very, very good stuff. I was kind of skeptical, because good Dzogchen teachers are rare. Westerners, even rarer. But James definitely makes the cut. It won't be everyone's cup of tea, but IMO he is great.
