A new event has just been announced that follows directly on the heels of Rinpoche's Chakrasamvara/Vajrayogini empowerments and teachings!

Click the following link for details and event registration: https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/shitro-empo ... 2975568814

Teachings will be on Jigmé Lingpa's Dzogchen Bardo Prayer entitled The Ocean of the Single Intention (Gonchig Gyamtso), which teaches the recognition of clear light/luminosity in the Four Bardos from the view of Trekchöd and Thögal.

This was one of the heart practices of Garchen Rinpoche's root guru, Khenpo Münsel, who considered the text so important that he himself composed two commentaries on it. Eric Fry-Miller's translation of Jigmé Lingpa's root text is available for free download here, and Khenpo Münsel's commentaries for purchase here.

I've sent an email via the Eventbrite page's Contact Us feature asking exactly that, and will update this thread accordingly with the response I get.

Same goes for the Chakrasamvara & Vajrayogini event being held by Khenpo Samdup's Vancouver Study Group. I'll be seeing Khenpo Samdup in person for the Phowa retreat at Gar Drölma, and will pose this question to him in person.

According to documentation for those attending the Phowa retreat (March 23 - 26) in person, we should refrain from using the center's wifi:
Because these teachings are so precious and not everyone is able to attend in person, we will be live streaming the event.
You'll want to contact [email protected] in case the link will only be shared privately to those who express interest and/or make certain commitments (as was the case with the Six Yogas teachings with Garchen Rinpoche last May).

Also, according to the FAQs of the Seattle teachings, they will be webcast as well:
Will the event be livestreamed?

Yes. If you are unable to attend in person please join us online. We have not broadcast from this venue before but will do our best to have the event available via livestream.
As always, links are forthcoming and will posted here are they become available.

For the Yamantaka teachings today we start an hour earlier than yesterday (in approximately 1.5 hours, i.e. 9:00 a.m. Pacific or 12:00 noon Eastern), and there should be a Refuge Ceremony around 1:30 p.m. Pacific (which is 4:30 p.m. Eastern).

If you're curious about whether you can take Refuge with Garchen Rinpoche via webcast, I can speak from my own experience when I say yes. That's how I first did it. All I was instructed to do was cut a few strands of hair and send them along with my English name to Garchen Institute at the following address. They sent me back a Refuge card and possibly some other Dharma goodies.

P.O. Box 4318
Chino Valley, AZ 86323-4318

If you need help converting Los Angeles time to your local time, here's a website that can help. I've used it regularly for years, including to convert Indian time to my local U.S. time: https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html

Don't forget, if you go to the FB page link provided in the image below, to scroll down past the pinned post, and to refresh if you don't see "Rinchen Choling is live" with the video that has a red box with the word LIVE in the top left corner. The alternate webcast link kindly provided by karmatseringnorbu will bring you directly to the Video page of Rinchen Choling, with the live video showing at top in larger format.

Not yet we don't. Khenpo Samdup wasn't sure if there would be or not when I asked him in person at the Phowa retreat. I have sent an email, and will follow up on it since the teachings are fast approaching.
