Prayer wheels

Post by jkarlins » Fri Sep 15, 2017 7:49 pm

Any suggestions for buying prayer wheels- handheld and tabletop both?

I have some online sources, just wondering if there's stuff I should watch out for, how to spot good ones, etc.

thanks

There are people in Izrael who made wooden prayer wheel for Garchen Rinpoche and many others. I really like their style and would love to get on of those. Otherwise. Well not sure. Probably have some lama to fill the prayer wheel with mantras or I think there is a possibility of having them printed in really high quantities on a super thin paper.

There's a group of people in the US doing this, from Garchen Rinpoche's community. And the count of mantras can be up to XX millions done this way.

Yes, thank you. It may be a while before I can afford a custom one, but it's certainly on my radar now. It's a wonderful coincidence that it is connected to Garchen Rinpoche, who I hold in high regard. : D
