Zong Rinpoche Teachings

Post by Konchog1 »

I've been listening to some teachings of his on youtube and they are excellent.

I've trying to find other teachings from him but there's nothing. Nothing through FPMT, Amazon, or even Google.

Any sources you know of?

Thank you!
Equanimity is the ground. Love is the moisture. Compassion is the seed. Bodhicitta is the result.

-Paraphrase of Khensur Rinpoche Lobsang Tsephel citing the Guhyasamaja Tantra

"All memories and thoughts are the union of emptiness and knowing, the Mind.
Without attachment, self-liberating, like a snake in a knot.
Through the qualities of meditating in that way,
Mental obscurations are purified and the dharmakaya is attained."

I know, he is going to become the head teacher of the German Tibethaus Frankfurt.
Maybe you can find any connection via this link? http://www.tibethaus.com/home.html
I have no time to browse it now. :namaste:

“We are each living in our own soap opera. We do not see things as they really are. We see only our interpretations. This is because our minds are always so busy...But when the mind calms down, it becomes clear. This mental clarity enables us to see things as they really are, instead of projecting our commentary on everything.” Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo.

Are you asking about the young or the former Zong Rinpoche?

Oops thank you everyone, but I meant the previous Zong Rinpoche.

Thank you, Lobsang. Excellent teachings. I searched the Lama Yeshe Archives but not closely enough I suppose.

I gave the young Zong rinpoche a gift of a gyro scope which he played with for hours apparently.:)

no doubt it made it back to the monastery where he grew up.
I heard he bought the young monks tons of toys to play with and tried hard to make life nice for them.

cool kid!

And there was a book from Lama yeshe archives called 'teachings from tibet' one of the section is from hh zong.

Basically every geluk practice around these days came down from Pabongka and his students.

Also there is David Molk's book on chod.

You're welcome, I knew there was something but it took some finding, a search of Zong Rinpoche didn't work, you had to look in the section of Lama Zopa Rinpoche's teachers.
