Dharmakaya Relic Mantras

Hello,

I've been reading some of Lama Zopa Rinpoche's teachings lately and find them quite insightful. Recently I've read about the power and benefits of the Dharmakaya Relic Mantras, and there is even a file on the FPMT website in small font to print them out. Seeing as I do not have a stupa to put them in, I was curious if it is alright to put them in an offering jar that I have on my altar? I notice all the mentions are of placing them in a stupa. I also did not see any specification as to how many to print out. I just wanted to be sure I did not do anything incorrect, so any insight would be appreciated.
