Dharma Master Cheng Yen

Post by Varis » Tue Jun 30, 2020 3:09 am

Does anyone know of any good resources on Cheng Yen's teachings? I find her form of "Humanistic Buddhism" quite interesting, but even the Tzu Chi website lacks material.

Does she teach Ch'an practice? Pure Land practice? Aside from charity work what practices do her students do?
I gather she considers the Lotus Sutra quite important.

Hi there, I genuinely appreciate the offer, but I hope you don't mind that I'll have to consider it. I have limited space currently and might draw some ire from those living with me if I brought in a bunch of new books (I'm well known as a book hog despite limited space :D)

I was generally looking for an overview of what she teaches.

Thank you a lot for the offer in any case.
