How do we know if our predominant state of life is that of Buddhahood?
How do we know if our predominant state of life is that of Buddhahood?
What does this mean?
In his writing, Hokkemongu (Words and Phrases of the Lotus Sutra), The Great Master Nichiren said, “If the practitioners of the Lotus Sutra wholeheartedly devote their life to the Lotus Sutra and practice according to its golden words, it is certainly needless to say that not only in the next life, but also in this lifetime they will overcome severe difficulty, prolong their life, receive the great, good fortune of unsurpassed enlightenment, and accomplish the great vow of the widespread, propagation of True Buddhism.”

If you have to ask if you have reached the fruition of buddhahood then you havn't reached the fruition of buddhahood. Buddhas don't experience the 2 obscurations.

I was thinking along the lines from something you started in me....we are all living in the Palm of Buddha Mahavairocana, and Buddhas only see other Buddhas.
i've been doing a lot practice directed at perceiving this thought.
I now have a feel for it and see where it fits nicely into the real impetus for Lotus Buddhism in the degenerative Age we dwell in,and the true meaning behind the words Myoho Renge .
for that i am eternally grateful to the one known as Malcolm .
