Juzu: where can I find this style?

Post by Spiritual_living »

Does anyone know where I can buy Juzu like this? This is the most beautiful Juzu I have ever seen. Does anyone know the name of the style? All I have is this picture to go on and I am hitting a dead end on where to find this…. Thank you.

I've seen similar examples in SGI community center bookstores- at least insofar as the weave on the balls. OTOH those are pretty fancy beads, don't know if they would often be found. OTOH if you can find a relatively large SGI center nearby then you might get lucky. Hours and inventory in the smaller centers tend to be more limited. There are a very wide variety of juzu designs.

I prefer the longer juzu, though I have a set in the truck very similar to that shown but plain wood beads, stained red, which I take to meetings. I like having the "truck book & beads", another set at home and another in the motorcycle. Saves trying to remember to grab them when heading out the door with a meeting later on.
