There is a place for you on the great white oxcart after your long, long life is over! When you are standing at the side of Shakyamuni Buddha on Eagle Peak, surveying the masses of beings lost in the lower realms, (some of whom may have voted Democrat, it's true,) please take pity to return and continue our work!

Jingoistic horse shit out of the mouth of a draft dodging billionaire. The only thing more pathetic are the people lining up behind him actually feeling the truth of those words.

There is no suffering to be severed. Ignorance and klesas are indivisible from bodhi. There is no cause of suffering to be abandoned. Since extremes and the false are the Middle and genuine, there is no path to be practiced. Samsara is nirvana. No severance achieved. No suffering nor its cause. No path, no end. There is no transcendent realm; there is only the one true aspect. There is nothing separate from the true aspect.

That's not cynicism. It's disgust.

You should get in touch with Milos Yiannapoulos or Steven Miller. Those mealy mouthed dirtbags would welcome a fellow like you with a big air kiss.

The environment. Not only does he deny climate change is happening, he makes pandering promises to people stuck on some idyllic past about cranking up carbon production. Meanwhile, the future is renewable energy sources but he withdraws support for those industries. No sense of urgency that we are facing an existential threat due to the climate. This is disgusting.

Corporatism. He invites foxes to watch the hen house. He appoints heads of industries to oversee those industries who have demonstrated through the decades that they are willing to screw their employees, the public and the environment, to increase revenues for their owners. Meanwhile he dismantles or defangs organs set up to protect workers and consumers.

Intentionally blowing up the budget as part of the Republican long game to dismantle social security, Medicare and the rest of the social safety net.

Cynically giving the religious right the supreme Court votes to evicerate the right to privacy which includes the right of women to control their body. This new balancee on the supreme Court will also weight the scale in favor of the extremely wealthy and corporations.

Fanning racism, bigotry, misogyny, etc.

Taking sides with Russians against the institutions underlying the rule of law, undermining the values that support democracy.

For being a disingenuous, compulsive liar.

Is he doing things right? Immigration needs to be regulated and brought under control. But he doesn't need to inject bigotry and racism into the discussion. Trade balances need to be reweighted. He does not need to go about it by insulting allies while ingratiating himself with people who are not allies.

The problem is, as has been demonstrated time and again, that for Trump, and for Trump supporters, facts don't matter. There is no such thing as an objective reality - truth is what Trump says it is. Just like his attorney Guiliani said a couple of weeks back 'truth is not the truth'.

ERGO, there is no point in debating it further, because if facts don't matter, debate is pointless, and as I'm now a mod, I'm calling this thread.
