I've never really read commentaries on any of the Three Pure Land Sutras. Does anyone have any favorites or recommendations?
Thanks so much

The Tai-ching states "the women in the realms of Mara, Sakra and Brahma all neither abandoned ( their old) bodies nor received (new) bodies. They all received buddhahood with their current bodies (genshin)" Thus these verses state that the dharma nature is like a great ocean. No right or wrong is preached (within it) Ordinary people and sages are equal, without superiority or inferiority

Re: Commentaries?
Here's a thread from a while back, it has links to several commentaries to the Visualisation Sutra.

Re: Commentaries?
Hello!
My favourites thus far are
1. Great Faith, Great Wisdom by Ratnaguna and Sraddhapa. Enjoyed both the commentary and the translation of the Larger Sukhavativyuha Sutra.
2. Ven. Thubten Chodron's Amitabha Retreat, more of her teachings on Amitabha can be found on YouTube too.

3. Finding our True Home; Living in the pure land here and now. By Ven. Thich Nhat Hanh.
To me, each of them adds a new dimension to helping me understand the Pure Land path.
