How lucky and blessed are we to follow the pureland path. It truly is Buddhism for the masses.

I have translated the Wikipedia Pure Land page into Esperanto.
Although Buddhism is popular among Esperantists, many terms simply have not yet been coined. I tried my best with approximating pronunciation of Sanskrit terms (Sukhavati -> Sukavatio) and others (phowa -> pobao, Jodo-Shu -> Ĝodo-ŝu).
There are a lot of cross-linked articles that will take time to do, but maybe now someone new will encounter the Pure Land teachings. :buddha1:

I discontinued the other Pure Land Tumblr blog a few months back. However, since I found the queue functionality, it's been much easier to keep a once or twice-daily stream of quotes, websites, images, and resources flowing on http://purelandbuddhism.tumblr.com/

It slants towards Jodo Shu and Shinshu, but occasionally there are bits of Chinese and Vietnamese Pure Land on there.

BDK has released a full PDF of Honen's Senchakushu, along with quite a few other texts just recently. It is, as far as I know, the only legal copy online, so I thought I would make a post.

I came across this book, and it has some Pure Land material (among other things), so I figured I would link it. The one downside is that many of the translated texts are often abridged.

Religions of Japan in Practice

Among the Pure Land material is one of the short biographies of Honen, a selection of Genshin's Ojoyoshu about the death-bed rites, an abridged version of Plain Words of the Pure Land Way which is a collection of sayings of various Nembutsu hijiri, an abridged collection of some of Shinran's letters, and On Attaining the Settled Mind, a text used by Shin followers but attributed to someone from Shoku's lineage. As well as a few others.

Besides this Pure Land material, there is a whole host of other interesting items in the book, from Dogen to Shingon material, and even non-Buddhist material.
