Sri Sri Ravi Shankar pilgrimage to Lhasa

Post by kirtu » Sat Aug 03, 2013 5:07 am

I didn't catch the date on this video, but the Hindu/Vedic teacher Sri Sri Ravi Shankar took some of his students on a pilgrimage to Lhasa. There are shots of the interior of the Potala (!), the Jokhang and Norbulingka. Most of these scenes have apparently never been filmed before.

This was apparently part of a pilgrimage to Kailash which is shown on the author's YouTube site.

Kirt's Tibetan Translation Notes

"Even if you practice only for an hour a day with faith and inspiration, good qualities will steadily increase. Regular practice makes it easy to transform your mind. From seeing only relative truth, you will eventually reach a profound certainty in the meaning of absolute truth."
Kyabje Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche.

"Only you can make your mind beautiful."
