Post by kirtu » Mon Feb 17, 2014 7:46 pm

Kalu Rinpoche teaching on the nature of mind, from 1982. Translated by Richard Barron (Chokyi Nyima). This seems to be a series from a retreat or weekend teaching. This was held at the Kamalashila-Institute, Wachendorf Germany.

Lecture 3

10 second video intended as an introduction to Kalu Rinpoche giving his dates of birth and Parinirvana.

"Even if you practice only for an hour a day with faith and inspiration, good qualities will steadily increase. Regular practice makes it easy to transform your mind. From seeing only relative truth, you will eventually reach a profound certainty in the meaning of absolute truth."
Kyabje Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche.

"Only you can make your mind beautiful."

I went to teachings By Rinpoche that same year, probably the same tour, in London.
"Any major dude with half a heart
Will surely tell you my friend,
Any minor world that breaks apart
Can fall together again.
Any major dude will tell you."
