Post by kirtu »

A trailer for the film "Kalachakra, The Enlightenment", a film by Natalie Fuchs made during HHDL's giving the Kalacharka empowerment in 2012 at Bodhgaya. The film follows a Frence woman as she is introduced to Tibetan Buddhism and the Kalachakra, as well as a young monk and a young Tibetan woman (this back story might be fictional, used as a story vehicle to introduce Buddhism). The film is in French, Tibetan and some English with English subtitles. The full film is available on Amazon Streaming Video.

Zen Master Seung Sahn said, “That’s simple. Atomic bombs come from the mind that likes this and doesn’t like that.”

"Even if you practice only for an hour a day with faith and inspiration, good qualities will steadily increase. Regular practice makes it easy to transform your mind. From seeing only relative truth, you will eventually reach a profound certainty in the meaning of absolute truth."
Kyabje Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche.

"Only you can make your mind beautiful."
