Does anyone know about the sacred art style found in Alchi, Ladakh? Name, influences (I can tell it's very Indian in style), online sources, etc?
I've been meaning to get back to painting (I was quite the little painter back in my kid years), and I really feel attracted to this style.

Laura Santi is a contemporary thangka painter who sometimes adopts this style.

Yes that's it, I knew it had a bit of kashmir style in it.Kim O'Hara wrote: ↑Sun Mar 11, 2018 3:09 am I didn't, but curiosity led me to https://www.sahapedia.org/the-religious ... -monuments and https://www.sahapedia.org/cross-cultura ... -of-ladakh.
