Tiantai and it's relevance to "Western Buddhism"

Post by coldwater » Sun Jul 17, 2016 7:09 pm

Interesting lectures/retrospectives about Chinese Tiantai as a transformative practice and the development/integration of various streams of Buddhism in China, the long-term effect and how this could be applied to the current mix of many streams entering other countries. If these talks were reposted here earlier- apologies!

He mementionethe lecture is given on the East coast - where?
Thanks!

And chanted but once, “Namo Buddhaya!”
Have certainly attained the path of the buddhas.

Rev.Heng Sure is the translator. The video appears to be posted in October 2014. The location appears to be Chuang Yen Monastery-http://www.baus.org/en/?cat=3

Not sure who the lecturer is, maybe someone from CTTB..? Sorry I can't provide more info.
