It is a quiet day here while I wait for some rain and discovered that the Shingon group on FB has a wide range of participants. So, I would like to ask:

1. How did you first learn of Shingon?

2. Where and with whom do you study? (e.g. Koyasan Shingon-shu Temple in L.A.)

3. What are your favorite resources for study? (e.g. Hakeda's Kukai Major Works, Hodge's Mahavairocana Sutra, online resources?)

4. What would you like to see more of? Books? Retreats? Centers? etc..

Hi Jake.

1. My study of Japanese martial arts led me to Fudo. Fudo led me to Shingon.
2. I study at the Honolulu Liliha Shingon mission. Rev. Finch teaches our classes.
3. Books. Kukai Major Works, Kukai On the Philosophy Of Language, btts online.com.
4. More opportunities for learning from ordained and other persons qualified to teach and study under.

Gratitude
