Romance of the Heart Sutra

Post by Yavana »

In Christianity there are certain myths and stories that lead to the development of our idea of romantic love—but what does the Buddhist tradition say about this? What does the Buddhist tradition and its scriptures teach those of us not strong enough to relinquish all earthly desires about how to engage in intimate relationships?

This book will give you all the details - and more - according to the Pali canon: "The Buddha's Teachings on Prosperity: At Home, At Work, in the World".

Tantra dude, it's all about the common basis of affliction and wisdom.

1 Myriad dharmas are only mind.
Mind is unobtainable.
What is there to seek?

2 If the Buddha-Nature is seen,
there will be no seeing of a nature in any thing.

3 Neither cultivation nor seated meditation —
this is the pure Chan of Tathagata.

4 With sudden enlightenment to Tathagata Chan,
the six paramitas and myriad means
are complete within that essence.
