Tashi delek L,

Triten Norbutse has for sure the text.
But also the Ngöndro for Dzogchen.

Have a nice day

Is there a commentary in English on the ZZNG ngondro available for me to read? Has Yongdzin RInpoche written something on this? There is a book on the A-tri, is there one on ZZNG?
Thanks

Tashi delek L,

Chagtri Ngöndro was teached when i am right at Serenity Ridge in 2003 by the Triten Norbutse Khenpo.
Chagtri is the complementory / explanation of the ZZNG Dzogchen

Thank you! I found the practice manual in 'The Oral tradition from Zhang-Zhung' by John Myrdhim Reynolds. It is an appendix
in that book.
Geshe Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche is offering a new nine month long online course on this ngondro starting in March, and I'm looking for supporting materials.
Thanks for your help.

Tashi delek L,

The Ngöndro from A Tri and ZZNG are not so very different in facto.

Differences would be Guru Yoga / Lama Näldjor and Chöd.
Why they did not add Phowa to ZZNG Ngöndro, that is here then for me remarkable.

Good that you make your intellectual preparations for the upcoming to follow teachings, many Bönpos do it in this way, including ego here. This way of following teachings has many advantages, we Bönpos know that very well. :applause:

IN ADDITION:

Do not know if it is A Tri or ZZNG Ngöndro.......
But the video shows essential Ngöndro.

GURU YOGA WITH TAPIRITSA:

Guru yoga

CHYI TSUG DE-WA CHEN PÖ PHO DRANG DU
DRIN CHÄN TSA WAI LA MA LA SOL WA DEB
SANG GYAY SEM SU TÖN PA RIN PO CHE
RANG NGO RANG GI SHE-PAR JYIN GYI LOB
From the palace on the crown of my head
I request the kindness of the Root Lama,
the precious jewel who introduces the Nature of the mind that all obstacles be
removed and that I accumulate merit and that I will attain the wisdom of Buddhahood

prayer to Tapihritsa.
KUN SANG THUG THRUL KU DOG SHEL KAR OE

DRI ME DANG SAEL OE ZER CHOG ÇUR THROE
GYAN ME ÇER BU YE NYI NYING POE DOEN
GYEN NYI THUG DJE DRO WAI DOEN LA GONG
DER SHEG THUG ÇUE DZOG CHEN KUN GYI CHOG
THEG PAI YANG TSE GYU LUNG MAN NGAG NYING
SHI YI NAE LUG KHOR DAE DROL THRUL DANG
DRA OE ZER SUM KYOEN YOEN RAB SAEL ZHING
DRO WAI LO YI MUEN PA KUEN SANG NAE
ZHI TONG TSA THRAEL SA LAM ÇIG CHOE TOG
NYAM TOG NGOEN GYUR KHOR DAE SEM SU DROEL

O emanation of the Mind of Kuntguzangpo, whose body is luminous white like
crystal, immaculate and of clear lustre, and of which rays of light emanate in all 10 directions.
Naked and without ornaments are you, the essence of the Primordial State.
By virtue of your compassion and by means of the two knowledges,
you contemplate continuously the welfare of all beings.
The nectar from the heart of the Blessed Ones is Dzogchen, which is supreme among all Teachings,
the highest of all teachings and the essence of all Tantras, (lung, men-ngag).
In the Natural State, which is the base, exist liberation and delusion,
and through sounds, rays and lights all their defects and virtues become clearly visible.
But once having cleared the darkness obscuring the minds of living beings,
the base which is empty and without a source is finally understood to be the only path,
relative and logical understanding become manifest, and Samsara and Nirvana are both liberated into the Nature of Mind,

DRE BU KU SUM YING SU GOE DZE BAI
DRO WAI GOEN PO TA PI HRI TSA LA
DAG LO TSE ÇIG MOE PA SOEL WA DEB
DAG SO DRO LA WANG KUR GYIN GYI LOB
CHI NANG SANG WAI BAR ÇOE ZHI WA DANG
MA RIG THRUL WAI DAG DZIN DROEL NE KHYANG
RANG RIG NGOEN GYUR TA CHOE THAR CHYIN NE
YE TONG TSA DREL LO DE CHEN POI DOEN
DA TA NYI DU DAG LA TSAL DU SOEL
DJE DRO WAI GOEN PO TA PI HRI TSA LA
SOL WA DEB SO DRO DRUG THUG DJE ZUNG LA DAG GYUE THROEL

and thus the threefold body of the fruit becomes visibly arrayed before us in space.
To you, oh Tapihritsa, protector of beings we pray with single-minded devotion
to grant the blessing of your initiation for us and all other beings,
and of pacifying all obstructions, outer, inner, and secret.
When we are all liberated from ignorance and from grasping at delusions,
our intrinsic awareness will become manifest, and having finally realised view and conduct,
we manifest the actual meaning of the Primordial State,
which is empty, without a source, and totally transcending the intellect.
At that moment, please let us realise this.
Oh Tapihritsa, Lord, Protector of all beings,
we pray: by virtue of your compassion, liberate our mind from all entanglements in the 6 realms of rebirth.

Dedication
Go sum dak bé ge wa gang gyi pa
Kham sum sem chen nam kyi dön du ngo
Duk sum sak pé lé drip kün jang nè
Ku sum dzok bé sang gyé nyur top shok

All pure virtue done through the 3 doors of body, speech and mind,
I dedicate to the welfare of sentient beings throughout the 3 realms of desire,
form and formlessness.
After having purified all the karmic obscurations of the 3 times,
May we swiftly achieve complete Buddhahood of the 3 bodies.
