Ask A Question?
This is our favorite time of year, not because of the holidays, but because this is the time where we finalize our teachings, retreats and events.

We think of ways to stimulate the Bön community to learn more about Yungdrung Bön by providing teachings and retreats in its true authentic teachings by the masters and founders of Bön who have kept the unbroken lineages for over 18,000 years.

One of our conversations with Latri Nyima Dakpa Rinpoche, were the questions so many people have about various teachings, Bön and more.

So, we decided to work on a project to help facilitate these questions.

For this project it will take everyone who believes in Bön, practice Bön, new to Bön or who have studied Bön for years, to participate with this amazing project that will have you feeling more knowledgeable about Yungdrung Bon.

ASK A QUESTION!

That simple! Ask a question and Latri Nyima Dakpa Rinpoche will answer your questions.

So for this week, December 12 - 19th, please email any questions you might have about Bön, Tantric, Sutra, Dzogchen, Ngöndro, etc. Really any question about the teachings of Bön, the traditions, the experiences, the history and more, there is no limitations.

You will be amazed and impressed with the results, but more important, your questions will help another person who might be afraid to ask or will have in the future. So really, this is a practice in helping all.

Your questions will be answered via email within a few days and you might be a part of a bigger project, but not without your consent.

I never have received teachings from this Geshela Latri Nyima Dakpa Rinpoche, only have read some books of him, but i know that Latri Nyima Dakpa Rinpoche and Chongtrul Rinpoche from Tashi Menri Monastery, are both very skilled and therefore famous in the world of Bönpos. Both are beloved Geshes, from the late Gyalwa Menri Trizin Rinpoche.

But here aboard Kvmilek, can probably tell you more about Geshela Latri Nyima Dakpa Rinpoche......

Have you met him, or are you speaking from an intuitive perspective?

Not in person but with direct emails enough to know it's not a good fit for me.

Why?...are you Bonpo? Different Lamas have different styles and personalities. I'll tell you that Tempa Lama has a kind heart, Chongtrul Rinpoche has a kind and generous heart, Chaphur Rinpoche is also warm and caring, and Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche also has a warm and loving heart. I tend to listen to and connect with Teachers who have those qualities.
That's all I will say. :meditate:

I'm open to receiving Bon teachings in the future. I'm not in a rush though.

Thank you so much for sharing!

Tashi delek L,

Yeh, the qualities of a Master should depend on a warm heart and not upon his skills ?
Well, me personal go for a qualified teacher and don´t look at all for a warm heart.
The warm heart i have, would be for the quality of the teachings and never for the warm heart of the related Master.
But the most qualified teachers have that warm heart, because out of compassion for us, they do the job of teaching.....

Maybe your question here to Geshela would be:
Why do you have a cold heart ? :)
I would be curious about Gehsela´s answer.
