French Dharma Resources

Post by Monlam Tharchin » Tue Oct 21, 2014 5:52 am

Does anyone have favorite Dharma resources in French that they would like to share?
I'm especially hopeful for Zen and Pure Land readings and/or audio, but anything would be welcome.
Of course, Thich Nhat Hanh's monastery is based in France, so that's a good start: http://villagedespruniers.net/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Merci d'avance :twothumbsup:

By understanding everything you perceive from the perspective of the view, you are freed from the constraints of philosophical beliefs.
By understanding that any and all mental activity is meditation, you are freed from arbitrary divisions between formal sessions and postmeditation activity.

The Theravada sister-site has a page of non-English resources but, strangely, hardly any in French.* This page, http://dhamma.ru/sadhu/106-french, does get a mention there and may be useful.

*Yes, strangely. Lots in German, some in Finnish, Indonesian, Romanian, etc.

Thank you, all.

Here are some things I've found:
a website about Zen:http://www.zen-occidental.net/index.html
a French Sangha with lots of information: http://dogensangha.fr/index/
quite replete Pure Land site: http://www.amitabha-terre-pure.net/
various schools: http://www.bouddhisme-france.org/

I've also found quite a few Dharma talks on YouTube. I'll try to share some of my favorites after watching more.
