Help with renovating Danakosha's Buddhist center in Finland
May 15th to June 15th 2018

Danakosha is a Tibetan Buddhist center established in 2005 by lama Tulku Dakpa Rinpoche in Finland. In 2016 Danakosha acquired a wonderful new place in the mid-point of the three major cities in south-western Finland. We emphasize being an authentic Buddhist center for study and practice for students from all over the world, and particularly in northern Europe, as there are very few Tibetan Buddhist centers in Northern Europe. In the new center we will offer summer courses and annual retreats, such as traditional drubchens, and many other events.

We are looking for volunteers and contributors to renovate this estate into a traditional Tibetan Buddhist center. Since 2016 we have renovated the tractor shed into a temple and started renovating the barn into a dormitory, kitchen and dining areas.

In this year's renovations we aim to finish the dormitory, kitchen and dining areas, and build a new shrine and traditional style entrances to the temple building. We are especially looking for renovators, but you can help in many ways, for example by cooking etc. You can contribute anything you can give, such as your knowledge, energy, or whatever you have to share. Our karma yoga program will take place between May 15th 2018 to June 15th 2018. You can come for any time that is suitable for you.

We offer shared accommodation and vegetarian food for the voluntary workers.

Read about a volunteer's experience in our last year's renovations at http://danakosha.org/en/news/KarmaYoga2 ... ience.html

We would be happy to know as soon as you know if you can come to help in the renovations. Please contact us to [email protected]

Sincerely,
Tulku Dakpa Rinpoche and Danakosha Ling development team
