The ancient Indian master Nagarjuna said “Great emptiness with compassion essence.” This is one of most beautiful ways to describe the whole and complete version of inner awakening. It expresses the mind’s realization of great emptiness and the heart’s boundless compassion.
Anam Thubten will invite participants to contemplate this living truth and talk about the way to integrate that in everyday life. There will be Tsok, a Tantric Buddhist feast ceremony, at the retreat.
Check-in is on Sunday, June 5th, between 2-4pm. There will be an orientation at 5pm, dinner at 6pm, and then at 8pm there will be ceremonial lighting of the 21 Tara statues in the temple with the Tara Mandala community. Anam Thubten will begin teaching on Monday, June 6th, after breakfast. The retreat will conclude on Wednesday, June 8th, after lunch.
